The Public Relations Department is a relatively new addition to all Public Administration Offices. Recent Legislative Decrees and National laws obliged Public Administration Offices to provide all citizens with a means of access to information on the Institute and its various administrational documents.
The Public Relations Department plays a key role in the Public Administration Renewal Project. It reconciles the citizen’s right to have access to information and services, and the right/duty of Public Institutes to inform and communicate.
The objectives of the office are:
- to guarantee the right of information and access in accordance with Act no. 241/90;
- to inform those who wish to use the services available, on the structure and its responsibilities.
- to promote the use of information technology networks;
- to create a customer satisfaction control system to verify the quality of the services the Institute offers.
- to guarantee interaction between the PRO and both internal structures within the same administration and the various PROs of other Public Institutes .
